Dr. Isaac Martel
Dr. Isaac Martel was introduced to the concept of whole body health when his baseball coach, a chiropractor, taught him the importance of stretching, proper form and technique at a young age. Over the years he watched many family members and friends benefit from chiropractic care and the role it can play in total body wellness.
Dr. Martel grew up in Bigfork and enjoyed an active life in sports and outdoor recreation. He graduated from Bigfork High School in 2015. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Performance at Rocky mountain College in Billings where he played four years for the Battlin' Bears basketball team.
He went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota to study to become a chiropractor. After a few years of work experience in Minnesota, and interning in Kalispell with Dr. Greg Pisk, Isaac knew the right place for him was in his hometown providing care for his community.
Dr. Martel opened Bigfork Family Chiropractic in the spring of 2023 with the goal of helping people in Bigfork and the surrounding communities live an active, pain free lifestyle. A key to that goal is to provide solid education to the patient as to how to maintain optimal health. Dr. Martel is committed to creating a welcoming, safe environment as he empowers his patients to take control of their overall health.
When Isaac is not spending time with his patients, you will find him at the gym, partaking in all of the outdoor adventures our beautiful valley has to offer, or coaching the high school girls basketball team here in Bigfork.
